The Chrysler 200 is the only car in its class to offer a nine-speed automatic transmission. The transmission features a wide gear ratio spread that provides smooth transfer between gears and efficiency at all speeds. It operates electronically rather than mechanically, using the Rotary E-shift.

The system can be programmed to activate the climate control and (if equipped) the available heated and ventilated seats and heated steering wheel, depending on temperatures outside and inside the vehicle. RST is standard on the Chrysler 200C and is available on the Chrysler 200 Limited.
