The UK-based car-maker of Bentley claims that this Bentley Continental GT3-R is the fastest-ever accelerating road car it has ever built. The GT3-R is inspired by the standard GT3 and is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 572 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.

Weight is also down by 220 lbs. compared to the Continental GT Speed V8 S. 0-60 mph happens in just 3.6 seconds. Bentley claims the GT3-R is a grand tourer with the performance of a race car.

The all-wheel-drive GT3-R features torque vectoring for the first time, and the ZF eight-speed automatic has shorter output gearing than in any previous Continental.

The new trim’s Drive and Sport modes are now more distinguished than before, and the steering column-mounted paddle shifters have been recalibrated. Riding on a set of 21-inch forged wheels, the GT3-R also utilizes a Carbon Silicon Carbide braking system.

To prove it’s a true high-performance machine, the GT3-R only has two seats to cut down on weight with the rear seats replaced by a luggage bench.

Covered in Beluga black leather and Alcantara, the driver and passenger seats are a new and improved design to guarantee better support.

The exterior is distinguished by a new front splitter and rear spoiler made from carbon fiber. There’s also a pair of two new hood vents.

All GT3-Rs will be painted in Glacier White while the radiator shell, grille and window surrounds are done in gloss black.

Also note the two-tone green “power lines” on each side. Official pricing has yet to be announced, but Bentley is now taking orders.
