Volvo XC40 Recharge 2020
Volvo introduced its very first completely electric vehicle, the XC40 Recharge, which joined the petrol and the plug-in hybrid variants. The four-wheel-drive SUV features two 204hp electric motors, one mounted on each axle. The Recharge’s electric powertrain develops 408hp, and the 78 KWh battery pack provides 320 Km of range between charges. The XC40 Recharge, which has a slightly reduced ground clearance compared to the regular version, can accelerate from Zero to One-hundred Km/h in 4.7 seconds, noting that its top-speed reaches 180 Km/h. The flat plate of its grill is one of few visual cues that distinguish the electric version from the stylish XC40 ordinary version, noting that the interior is beautifully appointed too.
